Physics Fundamentals exists to make physics clear, practical and free for everyone. We explain the core laws of physics in simple language, show every step of the maths, and build free calculators so students can check their own work.
Who We Are
Physics Fundamentals is an independent online learning resource for students, teachers and anyone curious about how the universe works. Our guides cover the main branches of physics, from Newton’s laws and energy to waves, electricity and modern physics, at the level taught in GCSE, A-Level, AP Physics, IB and first-year university courses.

How We Write Our Content
Every article starts with the physical idea, the “why”, before introducing equations. We use SI units throughout, include fully worked examples, and point out the mistakes students make most often. Before publishing, we check formulas and worked examples against standard physics references, and we test every calculator against hand-worked answers.
Physics is precise, and we take accuracy seriously. If you ever spot an error, please let us know and we will review and correct it quickly.
